From our head office in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Troostwijk is also the leading partner in its international valuation network, ArcaLaudis. This network is made up of valuation firms that each play a prominent role in their home country.

Some history
Troostwijk was founded in 1930. After starting out as a firm of auctioneers, the business developed through the years into the market leader in valuations in the Netherlands. Due to the internationalization of our clients, we have also been operating on an international level since the eighties of the last century. This has resulted in our position as one of the leading full service valuation firms world-wide.

National and international presence
Troostwijk has approx. 225 employees in the Netherlands. Internationally, we have an even greater number of specialists at our disposal through the ArcaLaudis network. Due to this combination of ‘local touch’ and broad international knowledge and experience, we are able to carry out practically every assignment. It goes without saying that the vast majority of our valuers are certified in their profession.

Independent
For each advice or valuation, a client must be certain it is free of any improper influence. Troostwijk is management-owned and guarantees that its employees give their professional opinions independently, only taking into account your interests as our client.

Related services
In addition to valuations, Troostwijk also provides services in a number of other areas. Loss assessments and preliminary inspections are for the most part carried out nationally. However, in particular when Dutch interests abroad are involved, our specific knowledge is often requested beyond our national borders.

Clients
We receive requests for valuations, value appraisals and consultancy services from various branches of industry. Clients also engage our services for diverse purposes. Although they can easily be combined, we often distinguish between ‘services for insurance purposes’ and ‘services for economic purposes’.
