Troostwijk’s valuation services to the insurance industry mark it out as unique. A necessity, as in each request for a valuation the insurance structure and the policy conditions can affect the final product. We do not simply get to work. Prior to a valuation, the exact need is first determined together with the client.
Customized project
For large companies, both national and international, project-based valuations are the perfect solution. These valuation projects are customized, with all aspects such as complexity, special conditions and geographical spread being taken into account.
Our International and Corporate Valuations (ICV) business unit carries out these large, complex valuations for you on a project basis. Thanks to central coordination, ICV can monitor the quality level, completion times, starting point uniformity and reporting for the entire valuation project. Of course we also use our ArcaLaudis international network for the purpose.
Consultancy and advice
In many cases, a full valuation is a perfect solution for a valuation issue. There are, however, also circumstances in which advice or a limited valuation will suffice. In those cases, we examine the available internal information together with a company’s risk manager. We provide advice and an opinion about the interpretation and applicability of this data, at all times focusing on the intended purpose. Depending on the possibilities of our client, a choice is made about the work to be carried out by Troostwijk and the part the company itself will take on. In practice, this has proved a tested model for handling valuations for even the most sizable businesses in an efficient manner.
